Tuesday 26th May What a month! I am soooo close to my km goal, surpassed my donations goal and am so proud of Purple Power! We are well on the way to exceeding our donations goal as well. Roseanne's quilt donation has almost sold out of tickets. We will draw on June 1st. Humbled. Proud.Hospital visit
Thursday 14th May I knew my participation in this event was important. I knew that my participation was part of a bigger picture. What I didn't know, until yesterday, the scope of service and care Jim Pattison Children's Hospital provides.We had the opportunity to take a tour of the facility. What I learned was the totality if care, the understanding of family needs, and the effort given to making every child comfortable and valued. From the design, to the incredible team of professionals, attention and sensitivity is forefront.

Sunday 8th Mar I am beyond thankful to be able to participate again. I am on the cusp of 70, working every day to stay mobile. I run...well walk actually, for my granddaughter. She has medical challenges that will be lifelong. Saskatoon Jim Pattison Children's Hospital has provided her exceptional care. Here we go again! 4th year!
Sunday 8th Mar I cannot believe that I am able to participate again! I have been faithfully going to physio and attending motion , yoga classes and now attend a gym! That alone is a win! All this to improve my mobility. I am a 69 year old grandma, living with double knee surgery complications . I participate to bring awareness and wellness to my granddaughter. She continues her brave days living with epilepsy and other health challenges. She is vibrant and ever resilient. She inspires me to be the same.Jimmy Patison Children's Hospital is such an amazing place. Her care and the care of so may others is vital in our province.
This year, I am joined again by my daughter, my neice and my granddaughter, and friends. I hope we can become a team of fearless, committed warriors!
Our team is gathering donations, but also will be selling tickets on a special quilt, made and donated by Rose-Anne Johner,one of our team!
