This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!
Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

This May, we're taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of SickKids and to bring awareness to Somatic Symptom Disorder!

This May, we're lacing up our running shoes and going the distance for SickKids!
Will you support our efforts in raising $2000?
SickKids' integrated approach to health care, one in which the mind-body connection is kept at the forefront, helped diagnose Darcy with Somatic Symptom Disorder (SSD) after six distressing months of medical tests and a lack of answers.
SSD affects children, youth and adults alike. It can be debilitating but there is a path to recovery and, it starts with awareness!
Thanks to SickKids, Darcy went from dropping out of school with an uncertain future to regaining complete function and graduating high school in a few weeks. This was only possible thanks to a team of doctors at SickKids who took an integrated approach to treating Darcy's physical symptoms.
And so with gratitude, we run for SickKids who turned Darcy's life around and to help other kids suffering with Somatic Symptoms and Related Disorders. SickKids once again proves to be a world leader in bridging the gap between physical and mental health.
Please donate now and help SickKids continue its integrated approach to pediatric medicine!
No donation is too small.
