This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of the IWK! We’ll be running 82 km’s for 82 days spent in the hospital.

In December, Sloane suffered a life-altering stroke that landed her in the hospital for 82 days. Throughout that time, she underwent multiple life-saving surgeries, and despite the overwhelming odds, Sloane has shown us what true resilience looks like. She’s been working tirelessly every day to regain her strength and independence.

Sloane’s recovery has been nothing short of a miracle, and every step I take on this run will be a reminder of the hard work and strength she continues to show each day.

Every dollar raised will help support the IWK hospital, where Sloane spent 82 days with life-saving treatment! We may all have a different reason to run but it’s an honour to be able to help improve patient outcomes for children in Atlantic Canada.

If you’re able, I invite you to run or walk with me, whether physically or in spirit. Let’s honor Sloane’s fight and her journey by taking strides—Together, we can make a difference.
