This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

This May, I will be participating in the Millions Reasons to Run event to support Sick Kids Hospital!
Any donation is greatly appreciated! As most of you know Sick Kids is our Home away from Home, we have been patients at Sick Kids since before Haven was born.
Haven has undergone many procedures and surgeries at Sick Kids and will likely endure more in her life. Haven's team was able to catch a diagnosis that we had been trying to find since the first week of her life, a diagnosis that only 1 in every 500,000 receive. I will never forget the day she was admitted for failure to thrive because of this rare disease, our first admission to Sick Kids, this was the beginning to multiple times our team would help her in different ways.
Our team at this point at Sick Kids consist of Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Head and Neck Surgery (also used as ENT), and Child Life.
We have also utilized Pediatric Development Drs, Allergy Dr, Dermatology, and spent MANY day in and out of the emergency room.
Without fundraising incentives like this places like Sick Kids wouldn't be possible for kids like our Havey.
Haven was so lucky to be asked to be an Ambassador for this run this year and I am so fortunate enough to be able to participate to give back even just a small percent of what Sick Kids has given to us.

Thank you to my donors
