100km for the Next Generation: Pei-ing it Forward to BC Children’s
When I was 8, I broke my arm so badly that it required major surgery. My family first went to Langley memorial, only to be told they had no surgeons available and to "call back tomorrow." After that, my parents lost trust in the local options and took me to BC Children’s Hospital.
The difference was night and day. As soon as we arrived, they told us, "We need to fix this immediately," and I was taken straight into surgery. BC Children’s was there when my family had nowhere else to turn, and we’ve been monthly donors ever since.
This May, I’m running 100km for the Million Reasons Run to give back. Right now, there are families going through much tougher medical emergencies than I did, and they deserve that same world-class care.
Your support funds life-saving research at a hospital that manages 270,000 patient visits/year and an ER that sees 140 kids every single day. Any amount helps!

🚀 Massive Momentum: First Partner Secured & Goal Officially Raised!
Monday 6th Apr
A massive thank you to Anvìe de Rêve for stepping up as our very first Endurance Partner. Less than a week in, and the momentum is already unreal. We have officially crossed the $1,000 mark for my 100km mission supporting BC Children’s Hospital! When I was 8 years old, BC Children’s performed a major surgery on my arm that other local hospitals were not willing to do. Having a business directly invest in that same level of pediatric care for the next generation means everything to me.
Because of this massive early surge, we completely blew past the initial placeholder target, bringing the "Pei It Forward" campaign to 21st nationally. As a result, I am scaling up and officially raising the campaign goal to $10,000.
To hit this milestone, my official partnership tiers are live. If you run a business that cares about the children of BC and the lifesaving research done at this facility, please reach out to me directly at jimmy.pei@mail.mcgill.ca.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated. The training block continues, and we are just getting started. If you aren't representing a business but still want to back the mission, individual community donations are the engine of this campaign. Every single dollar moves the needle for these kids. Let’s get to $10k!
Goal Smashed. Raising the Bar to $500!

Tuesday 31st MarMy goal is to raise $100. If just 4 people pledge $0.20/km ($20), we can hit that target together.
