This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Welcome to Team Remi Bemi

Tuesday 14th Apr
Our Remi has been an annual patient at JPCH in Saskatoon since she was 5 years old.  She was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 2 at age 6. She has two great specialist's Dr Mau from Urology & Dr Davis from Nephrology. After many hospitalizations early on due to kidney infections, Remi has been actively managing her daily health and protecting that one strong kidney.

Remi turns 11 this May. She is a fierce defenseman like her Dad and brothers. And a diehard Edmonton Oilers fan like her Mom. This year she played every game with the U11 and U13 Esterhazy Flyers hockey teams. She's a protective teammate who isn't afraid to take a couple punches or penalties to defend her goalie.

She loves all things women's sports.
Basketball and hockey being her favourites.

Together with 2 of her brothers (15 & 12) and their 3 huskies (Rosie, Summer & Gus Gus), she is pledging to run 2.6kms for every day in May. Her goal is for the Remi Bemi team to raise $4000

Thanks for your support!
