This May, I'm running 31 days — for the kids (and a little bit for me too)
The last time I ran before this challenge was during COVID. It kept me sane. And then life happened and I just… stopped.
Last year, Million Reasons Run pulled me back. Later, I joined a few run clubs in Winnipeg and had way more fun than I expected (even being the slowest person there, which I absolutely was 😅).
Then winter hit. Winnipeg winters are no joke, and I wasn't ready for that, so I stopped again 🥺
This is my second year trying to get back into it (yay! 🎉).
And I figured, what better way than a challenge that gives me a reason to show up, even on the days I don't feel like it?
Also, for over a year now, I've had the privilege of working at Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
Through my work, I've come across stories of families who chose to share some of the hardest moments of their lives, so the next family coming through those hospital doors might feel a little less afraid. That kind of generosity stays with you.
Every dollar goes directly toward care for kids here in Manitoba.
I'd be so grateful if you'd cheer me on this May and consider donating to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
You'd be supporting something I really care about and helping me stay accountable on those days I really don't want to run 💛
