31 Days, One Purpose: Running for Our Children’s Hospital
Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at children’s hospitals across Canada. These hospitals are more than just buildings, they are places of hope, healing, and second chances for so many families.
This cause is especially close to my heart because my son has received care at our local children’s hospital, CHEO. As a parent, there is nothing more important than knowing your child is in safe, compassionate, and expert hands.
As a nurse, I see firsthand the impact that skilled, dedicated healthcare teams have on patients and families. But experiencing it as a mother brings a completely different level of understanding and gratitude. The care, dedication, and support these teams provide make a lasting difference, not just for the children, but for their families too.
