This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!
In August 2023 my son, Caleb, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It was a devastating diagnosis, requiring prolonged hosptial stays, tests, and ultimately a Bone Marrow Transplant.
I enjoy running, and when I saw this opportunity arise, I wanted to be able to couple my love of running with doing something positive for our local Children's Hospital, the Stollery. The care we received from all of our care teams was exceptional, and our hope is that this small gesture of running and raising money for the Stollery will in some way benefit all those children who need care. Thank you for your support, words of kindness, and commitment to make the future a brighter place.
