This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

100 Km Reached!!

Saturday 31st May
I am happy to share that I just ran my last 5km of the month to reach my 100 km goal!!! This challenge is not about me, but starting to run again and focus on fitness is one of the best choices I have made recently.
Raising money for such an incredible organization that not only saved me when I was younger, but continues to help kids everyday, as well as is a keystone organization for my research as a graduate student was a no brainer!
I have donated 1 dollar for every 1 km I ran. There is zero pressure, but if you are in a place in life where you can donate, it is greatly appreciated.
And on the topic of health - remember to check in with those in your life (children and adults).
Cheers!

My reason

Saturday 3rd May
I am getting back into running for a really great reason! Not only has Children's Hospital personally impacted me by saving my life when I was younger, but now serves as a keystone organization that supports my graduate school research on better understanding mental health in children.

Thank you to my donors
