This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

I've raised since for my local children's hospital.

Time to lace up again!

Monday 23rd Feb

Last year I laced up for the Million Reasons Run in support of the IWK — and in honor of our brave girl, Sloane.

The IWK has been more than a hospital to us. It has been a place of expertise, compassion, reassurance, and hope during some of the most frightening moments of our lives.

When we returned home last year, running became therapy for me. It was how I processed everything. It gave me space to breathe, to think, to release the fear and the heaviness I’ve been carrying.

So this year I’m gearing up to run again.

I’m running in gratitude.

I’m running for the families sitting in hospital rooms right now.

I’m running for the children who need specialized care close to home.

And most of all, I’m running for Sloane — for her resilience, her joy, and the future ahead of her.

I hope running brings that same sense of strength and healing again this year.
