This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

First 5K

Monday 18th May

Posting a little update from last week because this one felt important 👣🐾

Wanda and I completed our first 5KM run together — just the two of us.

Honestly, this felt like a really big personal step for both of us.

A few weeks ago I was focused on simply getting the dogs walking together consistently, building control, and getting myself back into a routine. I didn’t start this journey expecting perfection or instant progress… just trying to show up again.

Now here we are hitting our first 5KM.

It might not seem huge to some people, but for me this felt like proof that consistency really does add up.

Still a long way to go, but this one felt worth celebrating 💛🐾

First solo Trip with the Dogs!🐾

Sunday 19th Apr
2.5KM and I’m honestly so impressed. Winston has been struggling with the slip lead this past week—he hated it and needed two leashes just to manage it. But today?? Just the slip lead, walking side by side, and actually focused. Huge difference. Wanda’s been solid from the start, so now it’s about getting them working together—and today finally felt like that. Big win. Let the training continue, he'll be running with us in no time at all! 👀🐾

2.48KM with the dogs today 🐾

Sunday 19th Apr
I’ve started this journey before—but this time I’m taking the time to do it right. Getting both dogs trained together, slowing things down, and building a routine that actually works before the Million Reasons to Run challenge begins. It might look like “just a walk”… but it’s really the foundation for everything that comes next
