This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada; and by supporting me, you’ll be funding the life-changing work that these kids so desperately need. Help me give back to the hospitals that have helped my own family and countless others. Any amount is huge for the cause!

It ended up being a slower pace then I had hoped, but sometimes you have to work with your body when it doesn’t want to work with you. Overall, I’m happy with what was accomplished today.

Day 10: 4.4 kms

Sunday 10th May
Today I ran and walked an additional 4.4 kilometres. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.

Day 8: 2.7 kms

Friday 8th May
I managed 2.7 kilometres today.

Day 6: 5.3 km

Wednesday 6th May
My body is weak but my will is strong! We’re at 20-ish kilometres now.

Day 5: 5.1 km

I reached my goal of 15 kilometres! I still have so much month left to use so I’m going to set the next goal at 30 kilometres.

Today I completed an additional kilometre which brings me up to 10 kms!

Today I knocked out an extra three kilometres

Day 2: 6 km!

Today I spent an hour and a half running and walking for the combined total of six kilometres of exercise!

I took lots of steps for work and errands yesterday (May 1st) but I don’t feel right about counting that towards the challenge since it wasn’t intentional.
