This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

I did it! 100km out 100km completed!

Saturday 30th May
I didn’t think I could do it. But over the past month, I have accumulated 100km run.  100%of my run goal.  Fundraising wise, it’s about half the target, but I’m still very grateful for the support and sponsorship from friends and family near and far!

Recap of week #1 of Million Reasons Run

Friday 8th May
In my first week of the fundraiser and run challenge, I have successfully completed 30 kms of my 100km goal! Thank you to all my supporters, friends and family far and near that are cheering me on! I truly appreciate your support!!

Getting excited! Only half a month to go til the official count of the accumulated kilometers run are calculated and recorded! Running is tracked and recorded for the month of May. Fundraising has begun, and I invite you to take part!

You can also follow track my kilometers run and the amount raised in the link. This is my first year participating, and I am running and fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital.

A new challenge!

Friday 20th Mar
I found a new exercise goal for myself.  And fundraising for the BC Children’s Hospital at the same time.

You may know that I started tracking my walking/trekking as a form of exercise several years ago.  I struggled with obesity since childhood although I hated to admit it.

Over the past few years, I’ve been diligently following guidance and recommended challenges my Garmin watch gives me, aiming to achieve steps or electronic badges.

Last year, under guidance of doctors, gym instructors and dietician team, I started running.  I may be slow, but I’ve been able to slowly and solidly build up my endurance for running.  I can run up to 10km in one shot, but my normal runs are about 3-5km each.

This May, I’m taking up the challenge of running and fundraising at the same time.  I’ve set my goal of running 100kms in May, and I invite you to support me by donating to the cause.  In signing up, we were given the option of choosing which hospital, and I have selected the BC Children’s Hospital of my home province.

If you are a runner, I invite you to sign up for this great cause also!

Thank you to my donors
