This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Recovery to Cafeteria

Sunday 4th May
Did you know it is a 1.25km round trip from the Mazankowski Heart Institute recovery ward to the cafeteria?!

Slow & Steady

Friday 2nd May
If you know me, you know I’m not in great health right now. I plan on achieving my 10k goal in baby bites.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

My own cancer treatment kicks my butt for the first week after my IV, so I’m recording small walks through parkades this week.

I’m spending my days in the Mazankowski Heart Institute where my husband is recovering from open heart surgery.

Funnily enough, it’s at the same place as the Stollery that I’m raising funds for.

Thank you to my donors
