Why Im running

Wednesday 8th Apr
As a registered nurse working on the paediatric unit in Red Deer I care deeply about children’s healthcare and I see the boundaries faced for families with sick children in rural and regional hospital settings. Since starting my nursing journey I have had the opportunity to work and learn in multiple children’s hospitals and units across Canada which has continued to shape my dedication to supporting children and their families through nursing and healthcare. I’m joining the million reasons run not only to fundraise but to bring awareness to the needs and challenges in the paediatric healthcare setting.
