This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of SickKids
I’m proud to be running in support of the 1 Million Reasons to Run, raising funds for SickKids. A place that represents hope, strength, and relentless determination for so many families.
Every child deserves the chance to grow up, to laugh, to play, to dream, and to live a full life. SickKids is at the forefront of making that possible. Through groundbreaking research, life saving treatments, and compassionate care, they change the future for children and families across Canada and beyond.
As a childhood cancer parent, this hits differently.
You realize how fragile life can be and how powerful community support truly is.
We spent 44 days at SickKids in 2025 during Emma’s cancer journey so we know firsthand what SickKids provides for families and their children.
Every kilometre I run is dedicated to the kids fighting battles they never chose.
I’m not just running for the challenge.
I’m running for the kids in hospital beds.
For the parents sitting beside them.
For the doctors and nurses who refuse to give up.
For the families who need hope the most.
If you’ve ever wondered whether one person can make a difference, the answer is yes.
Every donation, every share, every message of encouragement matters more than you know.
Because when you run for something bigger than yourself, the miles mean more.
1 Million Reasons to Run — and I’m proud to be one of them.
