This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!
Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

My reason
Thursday 23rd AprThis May, I’ll be taking on the Million Reasons Marathon, running every day throughout the month to raise money for SickKids Hospital in honour of something incredibly close to my heart.
Earlier this year, someone very dear to my family experienced an unimaginable loss that changed everything. It’s a kind of heartbreak that no one can truly prepare for, and it opened my eyes to just how important compassionate care, research, and support are for families facing the most difficult moments of their lives.
SickKids Hospital is not only a place of care, but a leader in groundbreaking research; constantly working to better understand genetics and the disorders that can arise when things don’t develop as they should. Through centres like their genomics programs, they study the genetic roots of disease and help drive earlier diagnoses, better treatments, and hope for families.
They also continue to innovate in the treatment and understanding of craniofacial syndromes (complex conditions that often require years of specialized care and multiple interventions) helping children live fuller, healthier lives.
I’m running not just for the miles, but for healing, for awareness, and for every family who has had to walk this path. Every step is for a tiny life gone too soon, and for the hope that one day fewer families will have to experience this kind of loss.
If you’re able to support, share, or simply cheer me on, it means more than you know.
