This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Why I’m Running

Tuesday 10th Mar
In September 2024 my husband and I endured the miscarriage of Twins at 14 weeks gestation due to Twin to Twin Transfusion syndrome. The fetal imaging team at the IWK were the ones who diagnosed my missed miscarriage and provided myself and my husband with immediate empathy and care as we discussed the next steps in my care.

As we just passed what would have been the Twins first birthday, it is not lost on us that if the Twins had defied the odds and survived, there would have been medical intervention to support the pregnancy and there likely would have been continuing medical care for the Twins after the delivery received at the IWK.

We lost our beautiful babies before we had the chance to save them, and we want to take that heartbreak and pain and turn it into something positive by fundraising in their memory to help future children receive the top notch care they deserve by the wonderful staff at the IWK.

Rest easy angels, I know you are with me every time I put my running shoes on 👼🏻👼🏻🤍
