This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Why I’m running

Friday 20th Mar

This past December, our daughter Bailey, at just five weeks old, was admitted to BC Children’s Hospital, where she underwent brain surgery to have a shunt placed to manage her hydrocephalus. It was one of the most frightening and overwhelming experiences we have ever faced as parents.

In the midst of so much uncertainty, the team at BC Children’s Hospital surrounded us with incredible care, compassion, and expertise. They not only cared for Bailey, but supported us every step of the way during a time when we needed it most.

We will never be able to fully express our gratitude for what they have done for our family. In hopes of giving back, I am raising funds to support this truly life-changing organization, with an initial goal of $1500.

If you are able, please consider making a donation—every contribution, big or small, helps ensure other families receive the same care, hope, and support that meant everything to us.
