my “why”
Friday 13th Marjaneway is more than just a hospital to people on the island. it’s the only children’s hospital in the province, which means every family, every child who needs specialized care, ends up there.
my own family has relied on the janeway before. when you come from a place where there’s only one children’s hospital, you understand how important it is that it’s strong, well funded, and able to care for every kid who walks through those doors.
running in the million reasons run is my way of giving back to a place that has been there for so many families like mine. every dollar helps support the care, equipment, and services that children in newfoundland depend on.
