This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!
Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Why I’m Running Again: My Third Year at the Million Reasons Run
Friday 27th FebThis year marks my third year participating in the Million Reasons Run, and somehow it feels more meaningful than ever.
As many of you know, I’m now working as a nurse with kids. Every shift reminds me why places like the Alberta Children's Hospital matter so much. Behind every hospital door is a child showing incredible bravery and a family leaning on the care, compassion, and expertise of an entire team.
The Million Reasons Run isn’t just another race. It’s a community coming together to support the life-changing work being done at the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. The funds raised help provide specialized equipment, support family-centred care, advance pediatric research, and ensure kids across Alberta receive the best possible treatment when they need it most.
Working with children has changed the way I see this run. I see firsthand how resilient kids are even on their hardest days. I see how much those small moments of comfort, distraction, and advanced care matter. And I see how donations truly make a difference.
That’s why I’m running again.
Not just for the kilometres.
Not just for the challenge.
But for the kids and families who rely on this hospital every single day.
If you’re able to donate, share my page, or cheer me on, I would be so grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps create more “million reasons” for hope, healing, and healthy futures.
Thank you for supporting me for the third year in a row. Let’s make this one the biggest yet. 💙
