Better late than never!
Saturday 2nd MayI just found out about this challenge through my incredible cousin-in-law, Katie-Mae, and I knew I wanted to be part of it.
My family spent a month in the NICU at the IWK Health Centre, and we are so grateful for everything they did for us.
It was one of the hardest seasons our family has faced, but also one filled with incredible care, compassion, and quiet strength from the people who show up every day for families like ours.
Working in such a challenging environment can’t be easy, and I’m taking on this running challenge alongside Katie-Mae to give back in a small way and help ensure that support continues for others who need it.
