This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!

Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.

Hey, I’m Ali!

Wednesday 8th Apr
Hi everyone, my name is Ali!

This May I am taking on A Million Reasons Run, where I will be running 75km over 31 days starting May 1st to raise money for my local children’s hospital!

As a student at McMaster University, I see the children’s hospital every single day, which makes this cause feel even more real and meaningful to me. My Auntie Jen, one of the most inspiring people I know, also works at SickKids, and seeing her dedication has made this a cause truly close to my heart.

I’m a relatively new runner (only ever raced in a 5k!) but I have my first 10k coming up this April and my first half-marathon in May. While those races are exciting milestones, THIS challenge is something different, this is my kind of race.

I love helping others, and while I could never be a nurse or a doctor, this is my way of turning that passion into action. Every kilometre I run is for the kids, families, and healthcare workers who inspire strength and resilience each and every day.

Thank you so much for your support, I’m happy you’re here! 🌟🏃‍♀️
