This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in honour of my Dad, Mike Acton, and to support my local children's hospital!
My Dad was a very inspiring man. He had a long, hard fought cancer battle and stayed positive throughout his entire journey. I miss him so much and I hope to live my life in the same way he did, by giving back.
I do this run every year to try and honour him and anyone going through cancer.
Every day, over 5,000 children receive care at a children’s hospital in Canada and by supporting me, you’ll be helping fund life-saving research at your own local children’s hospital. Funds for research are needed now more than ever, and your support will allow researchers to uncover new cures and gentler treatments for kids.
