This May, we're taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of our local children's hospital!
I will be running 100 kilometres for the sweetest boy in the month of May
Dougie was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia and had to be flown to BC children’s hospital. He had surgery to correct it at 3 days old.
He later had surgery to correct his bilateral ptosis of his eyes at 3 months old. Little did we know this was just the beginning of his journey.
Dougie has been diagnosed with 2 rare genetic disorders and is currently a part of a total Genome research study at BC Children’s Hospital!
He will require many more surgeries during his childhood that will all be performed at BC Children’s.
