This May, I'm taking on a 31 day running challenge in support of my local children's hospital!
My name is Hiba, I’m running for the first time for the kids in my local hospital.
Life has taught me that everyone is fighting something. Some battles are quiet, some are heavy, and some change your life forever. But when I think about children who have to spend their days in hospital rooms instead of playgrounds, it puts everything into perspective.
These kids carry a strength that most of us can’t even imagine. They face pain, uncertainty, and fear, yet somehow they still find ways to smile. That kind of courage humbles me.
Today’s run is my small way of standing with them. To remind them and myself that they are not alone, that people care, and that their fight matters.
Every step today is for their hope, their strength, and the future they deserve.
